The WPP formed two committees to complete 2010 tasks: the Technical Committee and the Community Stakeholder Committee. Both committees are doing work to define goals/objectives and to select criteria to identify priority areas in the watershed. The Technical Committee is conducting a GIS analysis of the watershed to create draft maps showing the location of priority development areas and priority conservation areas.
In addition, the Stakeholder Committee formed a Private Sector Incentives sub-committee to explore the potential incentives that could be integrated into the Balanced Growth Plan. The recommended incentives will serve both private and public interests and advance implementation of the Balanced Growth Plan.
