Who To Notify
Soil and water conservation districts in Ohio have authority and responsibility for investigating and helping resolve any pollution problems resulting from agriculture or silvicultural (logging) operations or activities. Once the District is notified of such a problem or situation, they will investigate promptly to determine if a pollution problem exists and work with the landowner to resolve any problems. Agricultural pollution complaints can not be annonymous and must be made in writing to the District.
The District does not have the authority to investigate or enforce the cleanup of non-agricultural pollution related problems. We will help bring such matters to the attention of the proper authorities and provide links to the public for reporting any such pollution problems.
